Lillie is 10 months today and that is crazy! She had developed such a great personality. She is always figuring out the best way to do things. This has led her to do a crawling/walking hybrid when she needs to get somewhere fast. She likes bouncing and jumping around and she just wants to play all of the time. She is so curious about everything, which sometimes causes her parents some heart palpitations, but it is mostly fun to watch and encourage. She has more balance than I probably have, but she is refusing to try to walk until she is absolutely ready. She has really picked up her babbling which is extremely fun to listen to especially when she feels the need to voice some displeasure. Usually she is less than thrilled that the food she was stuffing handfuls of into her month has suddenly disappeared. As I've said before, she got her dad's appetite and her mom's propensity for completely missing her mouth with most of her food. That's okay though, she has learned about the food catcher on her and after eating the food on the tray, she digs into her bib.

Lillie's First State Fair
Today Lillie got to experience a family tradition: The Minnesota State Fair. It was a perfect day for it as the temperature was warm, but a healthy cloud cover kept it from getting uncomfortable. Lillie had a ton of fun people watching and trying just a little bit of some fair foods. She also got to meet her first Minnesota State Fair Gopher. She was not so sure about him, but I can't say I blame her as he and another gopher were teaming up to steal someone's girlfriend away before we got to take our picture. In the end, Lillie passed out pretty heavily, which means she did her first State Fair right!

My First Barrette!
Lillie's hair has gotten long enough that I decided to try putting a barrette in it. The barrette managed to stay in and Lillie even gave me an awesome pose!

AWWWWW!
I was feeding Lillie before we put her in her crib for the night and she proceeded to fall asleep on one of the pillows on our bed. She made it really hard to put her in the crib. There's a whole 8 hours that I miss this adorableness.
